Because in Childbloom we teach a very high-skill way of playing the guitar, parents may think that it is too difficult for a young child to learn. Once a parent sees one of our students performing on stage or in a video, playing much more than strumming a few chords, it can be intimidating. But we do it all the time.

We find a level at which the child can succeed and put down roots. Then, we let the student grow…
